Till Hastreiter has over 15 years experience in the film industry. He started out in his very early years being an editor for cooperate film productions. That lead directly to his involvement in tailor made software solutions for high end color correction tools and motion sfx. After selling this business, he started his academic film studies at Prague’s film school and then graduates from the Budapest International Film School in 1997, both as a director and cinematographer.

In 1998 he establishes his own Swiss production company “Gute Filme” trough that he directs and produces award winning international commercials and art house movies till this day. His debut as feature film director „Status Yo!“ was the audience’s favorite at the Berlin Film Festival in 2004 and keeps winning prizes at festivals all around the world. Praised by the press as „stroke of genius“, this gave Till the necessary standing to produce and co-produce three more acclaimed art house movies in the last 4 years. In 2007 Till established a strictly genre driven Film Production “European Motion Pictures” through that he produces English speaking genre films for the international market. The first film of the companies slate is about starting worldwide distribution. The second project, - the first European 3-D Thriller is currently in pre-production. Besides he teaches „low budget film making“ in third world countries for the German Cultural Institute, GOETHE.
